This film isn't bad in itself with good cinematography and OK actors but it suffers from an incredibly weak scenario.
An editor sending her journalists in Santiago although they can't speak 2 words of Spanish – and of course don't hire a guide/translator.
A bad guy taking 2 bullets but he can still drive for miles and transport jerry cans as if nothing happens.
Police and people seeing a badly burned guy near crime scenes where victims are burned and of course it doesn't click.
Also the sub-story of the relationship between the two lovers isn't developed enough to be of interest and appears as a time-filler.
There are better movies in this genre such as Joy Ride or Highwaymen.
