Despite its low budget and no name cast, the film basically delivers. Essentially, its the story of a small town conspiracy. The story centers around Holly who is a less than perfect mother who finds herself accused of murder. Peppered with well established plot elements, the film rides the line between cliché and homage. Some of the action elements are pretty good, particularly a scene involving a cliff jump and rapids, where the lead actress obviously did her own stunt. Liked the female lead and actor who played the young deputy. The film moves quickly with a nice ambiguous twist in the tale. Performances are uneven but overall production values are good and the story kept me engaged.
