Storyline While on an unsanctioned, covert mission in Africa, a small team of S.E.A.L.s uncovers intelligence pointing to the imminent sale of a massive quantity of weapons grade uranium. Now, with no mission prep and zero support, they have less than thirty six hours to fight their way past a ruthless warlord’s army guarding this secret mining operation, hidden deep in the treacherous Congo, in order to secure the yellow-cake and expose the unknown buyer. One of America’s greatest threats is about to obtain the final piece in becoming a true nuclear power and only Seal Team Eight can stop them. Written by The Writers |

I did not have any expectations when I first started to watch this movie, and I'm sure glad I didn't have any either, because this was not a movie that should have seen the light of day, the acting is really bad.
The supposedly SEALs does not act like I have a feeling SEALs should behave when they're taking fire and maneuvering. They just run around with guns blazing, killing tonnes and tonnes of bad guys. And guess what? The bad guys don't know how to shoot, at all. A little like Rambo, except it isn't.
The acting is really not that great, Tom Sizemore does not convince me, and brings little to the table. He's just walking around swearing a lot looking at a screen, and then he swears some more.
There was just one thing in the movie that made me happy, and that was a "Saving Private Ryan" reference, if you've seen that movie, you'll recognize it when you see it, if you actually decide to watch this.
Last but not least; This movie is FUBAR.
OK, this is seriously so bad that I made an IMDb account just now for the sole purpose of warning people of the crappiness of this thing.
First, as another reviewer said, the acting is just terrible.
Second, I just CANNOT get past the absurdities of the supposed military members portrayed. -A SEAL team would NOT be dressed in different uniforms from each other -ALL of the uniforms shown (at least in the 12 minutes of the movie I was able to bear) do not even EXIST! -A SEAL would NOT perform a hand signal (silent communication used to maintain stealth) and then immediately afterwards make a LOUD, cheesy statement to everyone, let alone when they're within short distance of an enemy! -Their C.O. (in the movie) was addressed as three different ranks/titles in three minutes! Seriously, wtf?
Now, granted, I'm in the military myself, so some things, like the uniforms, may be more obvious to me, but you would have to be a complete moron to even come close to believing any of this crap is how the military, let alone a SEAL team, really is.
This "film" is an utter disgrace and in my opinion a major show of disrespect to the real SEALs and the military in general.
I heartily invite anyone involved in the making of this movie to pay me a visit, so that I may answer this slap-in-the-face they've produced with a kick square to their nuts with my Navy standard-issue steel-toed boot!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to point out that I am only 16 minutes into this god awful movie and decided to write my first review ever on here. This is not only bad acting and poor visuals but being retired Navy it pisses me off that because of the situation the world is in today someone thinks they can just throw Navy SEAL into a movie title and make money. To the writers of this pure POS, do some research before you decide to write a movie about something you have no clue about. For the company that bought the script and decided to it into a movie. You may want to rethink your life if you think this is what a movie should be. Yes you can say well you're only 16 min into the movie. Yes that is exactly right I'm only 16 min into the movie and I'm already so irritated that I write a review. Did I say it already that this is awful. A must on the DO NOT NEED TO SEE LIST.
Like one of the previous posters, I registered on IMDb just to say a couple of words about this movie (yes it is so bad). Also, similarly to some other posters I managed to watch it until some magic barrier of 15 min, no wait, I paused at 18:53. I bet I managed to watch that 2-3 extra minutes more than others because I'm ex-military special forces guy (we are tuff lol)
I wont comment on acting, Iv'e seen worse, but the whole military aspect … simply and obviously authors of this crap had no clue about it. Those so called SEALS (no offence to real ones) can be seen in a situations that are simply ridiculous. I'm dead certain that acting like they do would get them all killed in the first 2 minutes of this fight, but it all looks like they are against a bunch of broken target dummies… hurrah! … Well, at least they communicate well … those fantastic silent hand signals in ridiculous moments (often confirmed by a loud shout of the other SEAL) are just priceless.
I could go on about military details that really get on my nerves but I bet this comes with the territory and people without military background wouldn't be bothered by equipment details etc. However it would be nice if the authors could at least apply some logic and think a bit! …
OK, there is a bad guys camp, we could bomb it and kill those buggers but there are two of our operatives in there so we have to send a SEAL team to rescue them… zzzz … so let's start the action from … bombing the place! WTF?!
My brain just hurts 🙂
