A Modern Pride and Prejudice was just that a modern version with using the book of Jane's Austen manuscript.I really liked it! I thought that this version related to the book more than any other versions, besides the six hour BBC version. It was a great concept and I loved the modern twist but the old language. I also really liked the guy who played Mr. Darcy!!!! I also thought the girl that played The oldest Daughter Jane was a really great and beautiful actress. The mom was funny and the dad non interested just like in the book. I think since I read the book that I feel that it hit the marker compared to other versions and for being an independent film I actually thought it was amazing! Oh and Mr. Collins is a creepy hoot!!!
