'Beast in the Basement' is definitely a step in the right direction for Mr. Moffat and his associates at Palm Tree. Two sister imprison their Younger brother in the cellar, some years later when a series of Murders at a local army base shake the local community, how long will it take for the twisted sisters to face up to the awful truth. This Production manages to keep you involved by virtue a clever plot device (Which I will not reveal). Low-Budget of course it is, but it has a certain merit. A rye and knowing performance from Marnie Baxter (Iris) Had me chuckling away in my cinema seat. Clever use of locations. In True Palm Tree tradition it's completely bonkers in places, I think young people might call it random but perhaps that's part of the charm.
