| Storyline Valerie is an author and radio show host to Midnight Murder Hour. She has been following a case of a NYC Detective Frank Perry, who turned out to be a serial killer. Valerie meets up with, Kane, the Investigator, who was assigned the serial killer case and caught Frank Perry. Valerie interviews Kane to write a book on his capture of Perry. Kane meets her and reveals his story, in detail to Valerie. At the end of their meetings, Kane assures Valerie that Perry is away and will never come out. Six months later, Valerie, publishes the Novel, titled, “Lullaby”. Kane receives a copy. Valerie makes an appearance kicking off her book tour and radio show.
